More and more artists are releasing records that are different from the streaming or CD versions of the album. The standard vinyl and 11 more variants of Madonna's Confessions II have a 12 song tracklist, but the full album has 16 songs. There are physical variants with the full album but somehow they decided to make the most versions fitting on 1 LP. Olivia Rodrigo shortened a handful of songs of her latest album. Nearly 6 minutes of outros and bridges are missing in total compared to streaming and CD versions. A lot of fans brought their outrage online, feeling betrayed, but also some aren't open to the fact that the total length of the album won't fit on 1 LP without heavy limits to audio quality. Shania Twain's Little Miss Twain has a 15 track CD, but 3 songs are omitted from the vinyl tracklist, although there are three vinyl variants with an exclusive bonus track. In this case the full album is too long for a 1 LP pressing. LUCKILY LADY GAGA GOT US THE FULL ALBUM FOR MAYHEM! Mayhem is a 2 LP album, although the fourth side sits empty and is "only" etched. Side C has the final four songs, so the 2nd LP was only pressed for those. While it could be seen as a waste of space (that could've been used for more songs) and material (full vinyl material for a 12inch LP for 4 songs that don't even fill the one side completely), we got the complete (standard) album with 14 songs. Now... if they did the same to Mayhem, releasing it as 1 LP, we would need to get rid of 4 songs. What songs would you omitt to reduce Mayhem to 10 songs? Mine would be -Die With A Smile -Blade of Grass -Zombieboy -Garden of Eden. If we could choose from all Mayhem songs my tracklist would look like this: Side A 1. Disease 2. Abracadabra 3. Perfect Celebrity 4. Can't Stop The High 5. Vanish Into You Side B 6. LoveDrug 7. How Bad Do You Want Me 8. Shadow Of A Man 9. Kill For Love 10. The Beast How would you reduce Mayhem to a 1 LP album?
