USA To Reach 70% Vaccination By Summer As Vaccine Hesitation Drops

The US now looks likely to reach the 70% vaccination goal by July 4th as hesitancy is seen dropping in some communities and groups of people who were innitially reluctant to get the vaccine

 

This is according to a poll on people who had put off getting a vaccine until now and self reported how likely they are to make an appointment soon

Is this because of telling vaccinated people they don’t need to wear masks? 

I went to the mall this weekend and it was packed like there is no pandemic and like 20% of people were not wearing masks.

Here in Canada so far theyve chosen not to let vaccinated ppl not wear masks. They keep same restrictions as everyone else but so far no drop in demand even tho 65% of adults have at least 1 shot tho i have a feeling thats about to change. Maybe releasing the J&J in stock migbt help a few more jump in once falling rates occur

 

But im sure the prospect of no masks must encourage some

Half my work mates still wont get it but im not surprised. I read an article recently about how blue collar workers are the most likely to not want vaccines (not surprising) and im sort of in a blue collard job

Are companies in Canada giving bonuses to encourage employees to get the vaccine? I know a lot here are, so I wonder if that has something to do with it. I just started a new job and was pleasantly surprised that I got $100 just for being vaccinated.
