Gaga Mentioned in Battle For the Soul (Inside Democrats Campaigns...)

So I bought the new book about the 2020 democratic campaigns that came out today and was pleased to see gaga mentioned at least 5 times and also some insider information we do not know about.  Very interesting, Ill quote every mention

1. "Backstage the five presidents took their seats for a photo with Lady Gaga, decked out in a Hillary- Style white pant-suite, standing behind them. They all knew exactly what message they were sending." 

2. "Lady Gaga and Bruce Springsteen performing. Gaga, because she had worked with him on the "its on us" campus sexual assault awareness initiative that he spearheaded; Springsteen because he was Springsteen."- Author explains how Joe dreamed his campaign would start.

3. "When the official campaign kickoff rally was finally launched in Philadelphia in mid-May, Biden came out running onto the stage in his aviators, but there was no Lady Gaga, no Springsteen, not even on the playlist."

4. "He had dreamed about getting Lady Gaga to come, this time to perform as his musical act before dinner, as if that had any chance of happening."- More on Biden liking Gaga

5. "She had tweeted often in support of Biden in 2017, liking post about Obama's giving him the metal of freedom, backing him up as he talked about cancer or praised Lady Gaga for joining him in combating campus sexual assault." - About Tara Reades response to Biden's accusations.

6. "On his last stop that night, Biden finally got his Lady Gaga concert, in front of Steelers Stadium. She had other candidates she'd been interested in during the Primaries. Her father was a Trump supporter. That night she was alone on a platform, urging everyone there to make sure Biden won and then belting out "Shallow" from A Star Is Born on a white piano, in a white Joe Sweatshirt."- Now this is juicy 

7. "He started the morning after Georgia upbeat. He gotten Lady gaga to agree to sing the nation anthem."

8. "Lady Gaga sang the Stars Spangled Banner that morning, wearing a giant golden dove brooch."

Pretty interesting info, what surprised you guys the most? Who did you think Gaga liked during the primaries? Who could you have seen her endorsing had it not been Biden? 

Overall, I love stuff like this, this book is a part of history as it explains never before details of the 2020 election and campaigns and Gaga is in it 8 freaking times. people will read this many many years from now and see perhaps wonder who she is, or know exactly who she is.

Interesting. I've been thinking of picking that book up....I feel like Gaga might have supported Booker and or/Warren.

LOL at how so many old men adore Gaga....she's got the freaking President, Sam Elliott wearing a Born this Way T shirt, Tony Bennett, etc.

Gaga can also work a room really well. She's very deferential, especially with older people. And she can obviously charm and disarm even the stuffiest of people. She even had Amy Kochlobar (I know I have that name wrong but you know who I mean) gushing about meeting her at the inauguration.

Bobby has said that if she is the room with Obama or any other political VIP then she is going to make sure to talk to them. There's a reason she got to be Lady Gaga and it wasn't from being a shy wallflower 😅. It's easy to forget now that she's made it and is more mellow but she can still be determined and ambitious when she sets her mind to it.

I recommended! Just from the first few pages I can tell it’s gonna be very interesting. , and that’s extremely true Gaga does seem to have a thing for the older generation

Being so interested in politics her ambition and point to make her mark is so inspiring,just another reason to love her
