Also most of Kylie Minogue's "Golden" album. I like most tracks at first but a lot of the songs have these forced hooks in the chorus that kinda cheapen them for me. It used to be the thing that the chorus was the most important part of a song, it's the part everyone will know even if they don't know the verses. But somewhere along the way, laziness happened and it became all about the beat drop, as if that would be enough. Sometimes, there's just one or two words for the chorus, sometimes no words at all. I think it's partly also because songs are shorter now, so there's less room for lots of chorus repetition. Songs used to have a chorus sung 3 or 4 times, now it's only about 2.
