I thought it's going to be my favorite Lana album when MAC and VB were releaseed

After HIADTFWLMTHBIHI I was kinda worried, cause it sounded a little bit different than the previous two

Then she posted artwork of the album that was not matching to the songs at all

Theeen she added Doin Time and L4L outtake to the tracklist

And the whole record sounded like a playlist, some songs from one album, some from another

Disappointing project

Objectively, yes.
Subjectively, no. I prefer Lust For Life and Ultraviolence to it.

For me, yes. Before NFR Lana didn't interest me much. This is the first album of hers that I like completely.

NFR is great but it can't be the best when Honeymoon exists. Also this would've been a great poll :kara:

Born This Way

I think so in the objective sense. Personally,  Honeymoon is her best.

I know it’s a basic mainstream opinion but for me nothing has ever topped Born to Die + The Paradise Edition. That’s like a run of 24 songs where I love them all which almost never happens. LFL and UV come close though. I like all her albums including NFR but it just doesn’t have quite the touch that made her so interesting to me in the first place (and not just because they’re mostly ballads). I’d say BTD+P>UV>LFL>COCC>NFR>H

I don't know yet, I'll let it age more. But I think BTD + Paradise is her best piece of work, every song is unique and has a different production.

Genuinely, yes. And anything else is just an opinion being clouded by nostalgia. No matter how many paragraphs people write lol

I think it’s the best example of how diverse she can be and it’s a real solid piece of work.  My personal favourite is torn between NFR, Ultraviolence and Paradise.
