Leography 542
Hi fellow Hive members (and mandatory haters coming to every thread mentioning Beyoncé to remind everyone how much you don't like her and she doesn't write her own stuff, and she sound dumb, and…) As y'all know, act iii, the supposedly rock-inspired follow up to RENAISSANCE and COWBOY CARTER is coming this year, potentially VERY soon, so I thought in true Gagadaily fashion, it'd be fun to do a hype train for that as well And if you know anything about her fanbase, it's that they take delusion to new highs, and every pre-album period comes with a lot of clues analysis, so let's share how the theories we have on the album so far (Please feel free to add if I missed any!) FILE #01: MAY 1ST? From left to right, top to bottom: 1. A still from the RENAISSANCE announcement video 2. A visual of the Jolene interlude during the COWBOY CARTER TOUR 3 and 4 . Stills from Levi's Jeans commercials she did That's four instance of 5 and 1 used during the course of the trilogy. But wait Ru… there's more! Just this week she posted a photoshoot on Instagram, one of the pic a clear reference to the iconic Hold Up Video. And guess at what time of the MV the scene is? That's right, 1:51. (also, happy belated LEMONADE!) Source: beytimes on X FILE #02: THE CASE OF BETTY BLACK This one has a LOT of informations, so I'll just redirect you to a great thread by @beyzhive on X. But clearly, this is SOMETHING. FILE #03: PURPLE RAIN AND OTHER ROCK STUFF I mean, this one's pretty self explanatory. It's Beyoncé, so we know lots of genres will be explored, but all signs point to rock. First, the very photoshoot that launched the whole trilogy era: The leather doesn't lie. (Or maybe we're getting a BTW cover album) Then, there's the recent use of purple. We know Prince was a huge influence on her, so I'd say this is also very intentional and not just the 2026 Spring Color. A year back, we also got this COWBOY CARTER TOUR interlude, where we can see her dressed as Tina Turner, Little Richard and Elvis. FILE #04: BREAKING NEWS! ALL THE LATEST As Beyoncé will make her met gala comeback (and hopefully redemption) on Monday, people are speculating that we might get some updates on act iii really soon. And I'd say they're right. - First, there's Yvette, her publicist, currently responding to posts talking about the album, saying that everything's false. Which means it isn't, at least not fully. Every time she's answering on Twitter denying rumours, something happens within the 30 following days. - Then, just today, Beyoncé updated her website with a video of Stevie Nicks, a rock LEGEND, during the DC days. (you have to scroll past the most recent purple photoshoot to find it) - And finally, today as well, all the COWBOY CARTER merch was purged from her webshop, seemingly leaving room for act iii's preorders/merch. SO. What do you think? Is she coming tomorrow, on May 1st? Monday? As RENAISSANCE was released on July 29th and COWBOY CARTER on March 29th, will act iii be released on May 29th, the only Friday landing on a 29 this year? palma 8,807
I do hope it's any better than CC and lives up to Rena. I tried my best to get into that album but could barely survive one playthrough without skipping... Is there some reason my LG7 isn't here? Has she died or something? I'm positive there won't be a song better than Perfect Celebrity... Even Electric Chapel, tbh. Is there some reason my LG7 isn't here? Has she died or something?
