Suspiria 10,683 Posted April 23, 2021 Share Posted April 23, 2021 It's not that dreadful but I just cannot understand how this was one of only two outfits chosen for THE Lady Gaga's halftime show, the biggest performance of her career. Football armour to the superbowl? Seems so strangely basic and unimaginative from her. And on top of that the boots dont even match and the bedazzled pants look tacky. The styling in the SL video was extremely poor. You're absolutely right in that the individual pieces were nice, but together looked so messy and ridiculous. The visor/hat/whatever looks misplaced with the jacket, and the jacket looks misplaced with the outfit, and the shoes... you get the point. I actually don't think Gaga is particularly fashion-conscious or 'stylish' - even in an avant-garde way. She has served some truly iconic looks but I'm not sure if they can all be attributed to her. She described her approach to fashion once as 'anti-fashion' (in 2016) and I can see that.
