It's still unclear what Mega evolution means and if they are actual new evolutions or just new forms I see, so Gamefreak still can't escape the Pikachu inspiration (ala Plusle, Minun and Pachirisu) I see, while the megaevolution looks cool, I think the Blaziken megaevolution is not needed, and the Ampharos one looks forced imo. Plus most of the evolutions just add fluff and junk. I do like Absol's evolution though. Ugh, I don't know, I need more information and to digest this a little more.
