Batwings 12,851
Don't forget the reason that BTW was snubbed was because that year, it was all about Adele, and she collected every single award. I love Adele, but BTW is still in my opinion Gaga's best album, and the fact that it didn't win a single Grammy is a complete travesty.
Necrophos 31
I still remember that gif of her being teary eyed at the grammysIdk the context tho but it's so sad
TEANUS 13,203
Applause definitely should have garnered a nomination somewhere The Edge of Glory deserved a couple nominations but let’s be honest, it wouldn’t have won anything against Adele.... Born This Way, the album, definitely deserved the Pop Vocal Album award, 21 deserved AOTY British social ladies with upturned pinkies, glasses clinking // xoxoTEANUS

It was a weird hybrid genres meshed with political, social and sexual statements. This and plus everyone started obsessing over Adele when 21 became popular overnight. She really didn't have a lot of variables working to her advantage that year.
imnotyourbabe10 6,078
I have to agree. BTW was such a big career highlight and revolutionized the way we talked about self-love in music! It seemed like everyone jumped on the band wagon then, too (P!nk's Raise Your Glass; Katy's "Firework"; etc.) I would have hoped she would've snagged a MV Grammy or something for Y&I. ARTPOP is one of my top three Gaga records because it is such a radical experimental album, sticking it to the man. No wonder the Grammys didn't award that. "Music, not the bling" -- or as the Grammys might say, "bling, not the music"

"Music, not the bling" -- or as the Grammys might say, "bling, not the music" We know Gaga sure as hell stands by ARTPOP as well after her Zane Lowe interview last year. It's unfortunate most people panned it because there's quite a handful of songs on there that are still really enjoyable today.

WORLDofGAGA 2,274
BTW in my eyes definitely should of got something, just for it’s message alone. I really believe that album was a moment for this fan base and had such an important message, one that not many were pushing at the time! @W0RLDofGAGA
Luke78619 23,057
If I remember correctly, her team submitted Judas in categories where it should’ve been BTW or TEOG, so her team are partially to blame insta: good_lukeing | I have nothing else to promote
Chlorine 47,975
Kinda surprised BTW didn't... I guess I'm getting confused because she debuted BTW at the Grammys but I guess she won that night for TFM?

Regina George 59,387
You should blame her label for not submitting the songs that deserved to be submitted.
