Will Gaga’s next pop album be decade defining?

It'll be her most acclaimed album I am guessing. I am hoping for an evolution of the direction Gaga went for with Chromatica.

We don’t even know if Folklore will win AOTY  but no, I don’t want Gaga having someone else’s work’s moment, I want her to do it with her work

I was asking because the title says "decade defining" meaning an album that defines the whole decade, and the examples in the post describe the influence past decades had on Gaga's albums (meaning they were defined by other decades)

Gaga’s discography seems to have covered pop music from the last 6 decades (60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, 10s), not to mention she has released CTC which covers many songs from before the 60s, so it brings the question, will her next pop album hold the sound of the 20s? Or will she re-explore one of the decades she has already done (disco for the 70s?, RnB for the 90s?, Alternative for the 00s?)

TF/TFM are decade defining. What I was getting to was that she has done an album for each recent decade of pop culture, so if her next pop record focuses on this decade could it be decade defining.

There is a tarot card reader ('psychic'? I guess) on YouTube called The Spiritual Samurai who became known in the tarot community (which I am apart of so pls don't come for us) for being the reader who was the closest to predicting covid, anyway someone asked her about Gaga and she said her next album sounds like something The Prodigy would release. Not the most reliable source lol but I would be SOOO here for it

34 is not the 'start to wind down' age at all, Madonna released Ray of Lights (arguably her best album) When she was 40 with kids. Most people dominating are in their 30's now, (Taylor, The weeknd, Lana, Adele, Lizzo etc) Nicki is 38 with kids and she literally hasn’t stopped, Cardi B has a kid, Britney made Blackout and Circus after having kids!

I think no matter what she does she will always release music & getting older doesn’t mean it will get slower. If she records for enjoyment like she says she now does again, it won’t be an added effort to her busy life, it will be like downtime

When people bring up age I tell them Gwen was already 34 when she released LAMB, and 36 when The Sweet Escape became a hit. Gaga’s age isn’t in her way at all, and it’s weird how people have been using the age excuse since Joanne and yet she’s gotten two #1s since then

her journey as an artist branching here and there, do not expect her to do music like what shes doing on her early career. keep your expectation low and just support her whatever shes doing. whatever her next album is, one we can be sure is shes doing it for the gays
