Chromatica will probably be her last Dance Pop album (for a while)

I think she’ll always be remembered for her dance pop, but ever since ARTPOP her discography keeps becoming more diverse. Her last two top 5s and last two #1s are shared between two acoustic ballads and two dance pop songs. After her next album only 5 / 9 of her album will be classified as majority dance pop. Paired with her saying she was going to release many different types of music this decade I think her image will stray further away from being a dance pop artist. I guess the point of this thread is that I see many people on here say Chromatica is a return to stabilizing her dance pop career, while for some us we see it as her bring dance pop into her current discography. The rotation of genres will continue, and its proven with her next jazz album. I doubt she will release two dance pop albums back to back anymore unless they’re connected in some way.

I agree, i feel that after Chromatica we will be waiting a long time for the next pop album..and thats fine. Gaga always does something new, in one way or another. Thats why i feel sad for the wrong timing of Chromatica, though i still have hopes for it this year. But i believe things happens for a reason, it's a redirection for the better, whether we like it or not. 

Gucci film will be another push for her to stay in the movie scene. She will get offers, i hope even in a series. And i feel that being in this acting era is more manageable for her, when the time of having a family comes. Another thing im excited about

Can you imagine what life would be like if we got Chromatica in 2016 with Tour, Superbowl and Coachella. Then Joanne in 2020 as quarantine album with intimate virtual performances.

I feel like she's going to drop an EP related to Chromatica once the pandemic is done and then do the tour right after. It's the easiest way to revive the year old music and make it new again.

I see her next album being more piano-driven, Adele-type music after she gets married and has a baby. Not faux country like Joanne but ballads like Is That Alright?/INLA.
