To be honest, I'm sure Gaga had her reasons to disappear but when most of the fanbase was frustrated, I think a statement like she released when the DWUW video got scrapped would've calmed us all down. It feels so weird to just end the era like it just fades away compared to the others. The Fame ended with the last TFB performance and with the 2009 VMAs. The Fame Monster ended with the last MBT date and a whole BTW event around it. Born This Way ended with the last BTWB date of her canceling due to her injury and singing Marry The Night and giving a speech. ARTPOP ended with the last artRAVE show which was streamed and celebrated. Joanne ended with a cancelation of the JWT but at least she tweeted a goodbye and released the Joanne video.
