I have never watched anything Jeffrey Star related lol, I am talking about beauty youtubers that come up when you search “HAUS Labs”. Besides when was the last time JS tried a HAUS Labs product? After the initial launch I saw very few “big name” beauty youtubers paying attention to/using the products, in fact they are often listed in “anti-haul/products I will not be buying” videos. Outside of occasional ppl like Aquaria using the stupid love pallet, at most I see MUAs/celebs use the HL eyeliner on the regular but that’s about it. I would Iove to see Trixie Mattel for example do a haus Labs haul/look but as far as I know she has completely ignored the brand. I actually like quite a few Haus Labs products and have spent way too much to of my money on it, but you can‘t deny the brand has not fully caught on in the beauty community and there a bit of criticism and ambivalence. In my experience any negative comment towards the brand gets hysterical reactions from Haus Labs defenders. Beatboom was here throwing petty comments at us "haters" (as a side note, this term is so tired... the middle school rhetoric where anyone that dislikes something is a "hater" has to go) before I even commented. I am only puzzled because I barely ever see it mentioned or reviewed in the makeup community besides their obviously iconic liquid eyeliner. The KOHL eyeliner is ****ing so good too. Like find a hoby I love how when it's negative comments it's "hate" "obsession" and "find a hobby" But when some people praise a brand they have no interest in just because it's Gaga related and attack anyone that dares saying otherwise, it's normal behaviour Nothing I said was hateful. Check your standards. At the end of the day, the beauty community (aka the non-Gaga fans, the ones who care about makeup and have an actual objective opinion on the topic) are lukewarm about Haus Labs, so I know I'm not crazy. I'm not enforcing that opinion onto you guys, I'm simply stating mine. I just find it highly ironic how I get called out for "hate" and non-objectivity when my opinion aligns with those of people who actually are into makeup, whereas you just like it because it's Gaga. I'm 100% able to be constructive about this brand despite having a negative opinion. It's sad that whenever I try to, the obsessed defender mob comes out tho.
