Church of Satan threatens to 'hex' arsonist who burned down Halloween House

The Church of Satan has threatened to 'hex' the arsonist who burned down New York's famous 'Halloween House' in Poughkeepsie.  

The House of Netherworld, in the 'Witch District' of the city, was allegedly set alight at 5am on January 14.  Two adults escaped the blaze unharmed.

The house's former owner was the late Joe 'Netherworld' Mendillo, a high-ranking Church of Satan member who called himself a 'dark side Martha Stewart'. He made it 'Halloween 365 days a year' with devil statues and a hearse in the driveway and performed the first legal, same-sex 'Satanic' wedding in state.

The Church of Satan members vowed to put a 'hex' on the suspected arsonist. 

The church member, who goes by the name Isis Vermouth told : 'Everybody's in shock and everyone in the neighborhood is worried, Whoever did this is going to be hexed by all of us. Now there's going to be hell to pay.' 

He added "Those who took the time to research our religion learned that it is not devil worship but instead an atheist philosophy of individualism, liberty, and self-fulfillment"

Good, it will keep the Church of Satan busy and off my back.  They've been on my case for years because they hate how virtuous and pleasing I am to God.  Not to mention all my good deeds and cheer I bring to the less fortunate people of the world.

So true. I'm a pagan witch and I've never heard of any of this drama with us. Think about it, everyone has heard of some sort of war of religion with Christianity, Islam, and to a lesser extent Judaism, etc... Most people don't even know or believe pagans and witches exist, so that should tell you everything - if anyone asks what religion/belief system is the most peaceful, there's the answer

just to clarify - church of satan are atheists. they just use the symbol of satan as an antithesis to society / modern religion, but they don't actually have spiritual beliefs if i'm correct

 I’m definitely pro Satanist. They seem to espouse progressive ideas. Assuming the person that did it is offended by Satan or of some religion, it is not very pro life or safe of them to start a fire that could spread to other homes.
