Hard hard agree with this.

This album floods me with memories of my teens! The lyrics, the vocals, the range, the talent!

I feel it deserves more and if you haven’t - I really encourage you to listen from start to finish!

Keep on Singin’ My Song is one of my all time favourite album closers 🤗

One of the first ever albums that I ever truly loved. It helped me get through some hard times and I loved singing these songs when I was at my lowest. It was truly ahead of its time in the sense of the unapologetic sexual expression as well as the big confessional nature of the whole thing. I'm still dumbfounded as to why it got such a mixed-negative critical reception. One publication gave it a flat-out F score, yet the Grammy academy gave it some recognition at least. If ever an album is in need of a retrospective review years on, it's this. It would be fairly timely too, seeing as it'll be its 19th anniversary this year. That makes me feel so old.

Eh, too bloated

Every track deserves its place on the album. It does feel long but it doesn't feel bloated IMO.

It is really good and Christina’s best but coming from someone who grew up listening to these divas, we should thank P!nk’s Missundaztood album because Christina liked what Linda Perry did with P!nk so she decided to recruit her as well.:applause:

Exactly!! Stripped is a one of a kind record. It’s so impressive how she went from her label controlled debut (which bops but lacked creative control) to this masterpiece. She has the vision for it for years and knew exactly what she wanted to do. She took a big risk to ruin her perfect pop star persona so early on and it paid off. This album gave her the icon status and she made herself a legend after making Back to Basics. She recorded a vulnerable album that had a bit of everything for everyone and feels so cohesive and not long at all. Amazing transitions and interludes and just overall flawless. Who’s doing it like her:giveup:

It is a great album and brings back a  lot of memories. I was just 16 when it was released.

She just wanted to break free from her label and she did a great job with such a personal album. I loved all the songs except Underappreciated

I loved when she died her hair black or when she released TVW when no one was expecting it. Promo was a mess after Beautiful  but it is Christina Aguilera, you know.
