She was definitely singing. I watched it live.

J Lo - career all year long

Mariah - two weeks during the holidays

I'd be salty as fck too

Indeed. Mariah really should stop with her saltyness with relation to other female artists. I would say that JLo is much more in demand that she is. Mariah is only remembered once a year for Christmas and that will be ultimately her legacy, which is kind of sad actually.

It's only sad if you actually believe that :ladyhaha:

Mariah Carey is a legend, the other one is not.

this isn’t even remotely true. mariah WAS the nineties and mid 2000s music scene and she just benefits from an annual commercial success boost. her legacy is cemented.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

Mariah is unnecessarily shady and mean to other artists, which of course the gheys love because they are unnecessarily shady and mean. It's almost like she represents the frugality and toxicity of stan culture. As an artist, she had her hits, which except for her fanbase, no one really remembers except for AIWFC, which is all she is remembered for once a year. Like the other user said, JLo has a career all year, Mariah just two weeks during the holidays.

JLo always comes across as someone devoted to her craft - not someone that just stands there waving their arms and whistling and waiting to be carried around - gives her all in her performances, and has the bops.

I don't care about either of them, really, but I'll take the legend that is JLo over Mariah any day.

Perhaps in the US, because except for AIWFC, in the rest of the world Mariah is a non-event.
