Will Gaga attend TDWP2 Premiere?

Do we think she’ll go? Because she’s in the movie, on the soundtrack, the MET gala is happening the same week AND she’ll be in New York for the Mayhem Ball too at the same time.

I think so. If she could make it to the VMAs and the Grammys in the middle of a world tour, I have no doubt she'll make this work.

I would've taken it with a grain of salt had she only been involved in the soundtrack (she didn't attend the Top Gun: Maverick premiere), but the fact she's in the movie low-key seals the deal here.

I feel even though her role is so small (I’ve heard she talks to Miranda and then performs briefly and that’s it) she could still attend because they specifically requested her for the movie. Plus she’ll be in the same city as the premiere anyway.

She was even made fun of live on TV at this year’s Oscars for not being “a real actress” and for being Bradley’s little success in ASIB.

Which I find entirely odd when she was THE selling point of ASIB and to a degree she was a big draw for HoG and FAD.

But with ASIB almost ALL the praise I heard was about her, her voice, the music and the romance. To the point people were convinced her and Bradley had an affair

I think it proves she needs to do more straight forward original drama tbh. Although I personally loved her in HoG even more than ASIB because she was so detached from her actual self. Wonder if she’ll do the MET too since Anna loves her, she’s in TDWP and their whole cast is going this year apparently AND Beyoncé is on the committee this year. Although thus far there’s no news of her going or being dressed by anyone.

And she needs to stop being attracted by success tbh.

Sequels almost never work, Joker 2 was gonna be a disaster for her from the moment it was announced she would play in it. And then she thought “Yoo-hoo! Let’s do Wednesday 2!”. She basically just did a cameo and a song but they put her name everywhere as if she was a big part of the season, and the season underperformed. 

Thank God, they did not promote Gaga as something big in TDWP 2. They just let the crickets do their sound and it’s perfect this way.

Tbf unless she was in the main cast of DWP2 the focus is always on Meryl and Anne. Although I’ve seen a LOT of critiques about Meryl’s modern interpretation of Miranda, people saying she’s showing too much emotion and seems unsure of things. But I think they forget that she’s reflecting real life because the magazine industry is dying because of the internet where every column on a blog becomes like a magazine with little to no investment.

I still want Gaga to do a romcom as a leading lady OR a horror movie, she loves horror so I’m shocked she hasn’t signed on for one yet.

yall acting ain't her main thing, she's back in her pop bag (thank god!), I feel like Mayhem coming right after made me not care about J2 

I hope she does theater at some point though that's clearly where she belongs (even Andrew Lloyd Webber said she should after watching Mayhem Ball!)

Met Gala kinda a need though, especially for the theme
