Also Back to Black being the third best selling LP in the UK fourteen years after its release speaks volumes about Amy's impact on the industry but that's another conversation for another day. Well, tons of artists do that nowadays so I don't think it's that big of a deal or pushed her to #1 (although I'm sure it helped the sales). I think it's more that dance pop/electro pop is bigger in the UK in general and gets played on the radios there more, too (see Kylie, Dua's #s in the UK vs. the US).
