No, I think she should finally make a full on classical piano album and show us her vocals :lolly:

Nah. Just pull a Taylor Swift. She doesn't need visual for that kinda of music.

If she wants to do is all just the music.

Yes. I'm obsessed with this album but my biggest critique is that it is still a little too safe and radio-friendly. I want something that truly is mind blowing. I think one of the biggest moments we can all agree on that she played safe with is Free Woman. The demo sounds vintage AND fresh. The album version sounds dated and too clean. Serve me the grit. Serve me the unpredictable. Give me an 8 minute long disco anthem. Give me more interludes.

I think LG7 should really lean into the more industrial/dark house elements as well as that large rock influence. Genre-bending type stuff.

I want her dancing less and playing the piano way more, that’s it.

This would be so nice. Like her old acoustic versions during TF when she'd visit radio stations to play an acoustic set a few times a month.

My unpopular take—although some on here had the same take—was that Chromatica might be the last "traditional" dance pop album. It had a lot of 90s French House vibes but was mostly traditional dance pop/electro pop. I love the album, but there was definitely a whiff of fan service imo compared to Joanne or even BTW and it could sort of be seen as a final bow.

The genre is super, super ageist (yeah yeah Madonna, Kylie, etc....but they have diminishing returns for the most part) and even the critics play into the ageism bit (see the critics trying to pit Dua against Gaga and Kylie or even...the critics who did it to Gaga and Madonna back in the day). Look at the fans, even, who are incredibly fickle in some ways. And I'm not saying people can't love multiple artists (I do!), but a lot of dance pop fans have this "there can only be one" mentality.

I could see her going "f*ck sales (granted, I don't think she cares that much about charts anyway)" and going full on Roisin Murphy with more songs like "911" or exploring other genres (more glam rock, etc.).

She had all the resources to get experimental, actually experimental not "experimental for her", with Chromatica but pulled back and went with a watered down sound. She's probably never going to do anything left field after what happened with ARTPOP and now reigning this album in

911 is experimental. I love the album (and I get why it was well reviewed), but I did find it odd that it shifted from super safe (SL, ROM, Babylon) to almost old school disco (Replay) to experimental tracks like (911). It's a bit paradoxical, but it some ways it seems super cohesive and in other ways..not that cohesive (in my opinion). That said, I'm aware all the critics praised it's cohesiveness. But I sort of feel like Replay and 911 could have been on a separate album than SL, ROM, Babylon, Sour Candy, etc.

She should produce something new. Preferably hard rock. Something she’s never done before. Maybe a fusion of pop with heavy jazz influences? Also a heavy metal or hard rock album

She's got a voice for rock.

What do you consider experimental?

I don't think she'll repeat herself in an album.

I love Chromatica, I love it so much, but the only real chance we have of getting more music in the same style is if she releases an EP, what is pretty possible. People here are saying she won't do it, but her streamings are super healthy and Chromatica is by far her best streamed album and we only will know the real extension of Chromatica's power when she tours and I think Chromatica Tour (if it happens) is gonna be huge.

It's time for Gaga to release a BEST OF album.

Also, it would be a nice opportunity for a ballad album, voice and piano.

So I think we'll have the Chromatica part II expanding the sounds, going more experimental. The so called second Jazz album with Tony Bennett and then something totally new in a couple of years.

I am authistic, so don't be offended if I make a mess sometimes.

Well, 911 is "relatively" experimental...more so than typical pop. But I would say FKA Twigs, Grimes, Bjork, etc. are all experimental to different degrees.
