But anyway, it’s entirely possible As far as I can remember, way back after the VMA's an editor of the magazine had said Gaga would be on the cover soon. Gaga hasn't covered the UK version as of yet and this would be the perfect year to cover! An 2020 cover would have made more sense. Considering she had to be superimposed into pics for that Valentino perfume campaign, I wonder if this was scheduled forever ago and they're playing catchup. Anyway, it's weird how she's never been on the cover of British Vogue before. You'd think the previous editor could have made room amongst the endless Sienna Miller and Alex Chung covers to make room on the schedule for peak era Gaga. I'm not sure tbh, I think it'll be to speak about this past year with her work for Covid-19 and the album and other things. I think maybe they wanted her sooner it's just that other people had covers lined up. I'm not shocked that the previous editor didn't give her a cover, she just had an editorial in 2009. The previous editor just relied on some of the most boring faces over the past few year and her British Vogue was quite conservative and dull most of the time.
