That’s it. I don’t wash my face & I don’t use any alcoholic products that might dry me out. My dermatologist gave me this extremely simple regimen & it’s actually helped a lot. I don’t get breakouts anymore & I'm able to manage the oil with witch hazel. I get what you’re saying though, sometimes in an effort to control oil we dry ourselves out causing more oil production. A lightweight moisturiser might do you wonders especially because drying out your skin too early on might lead to early ageing and we wouldn’t want that! Maybe try something out and see how your skin reacts? I remember being scared to death of moisturiser when I was acne prone and it would just lead to pimples and oiliness on some areas and dry flaky patches on others. Sounds a bit counterintuitive, but adding a good oil to your skincare/hair care may actually help reduce oiliness. Yes! I always had super oily skin and thought moisturizing would make it worse. Now that it’s part of my skin care routine, no more oily skin! A good toner probably doesn’t hurt either. YoungWildCanadian

I'm 27 going on 28 and I still get some acne pimples on my arms, shoulder and back and on my face I don't get pimples anymore but still get a sh*t load of blackheads constantly from the constant clogging of my pores I try to moisturize more now in addition to cleansing and find it's helping a little but all my moisturizers have to be oil free Glycolic acid serums (chemical exfoliant) did W O N D E R S for my post-acne blackhead-prone skin! Especially on the tip of the nose.

Natural glow? Check check check check. Argan oil is great! But olive oil is way heavier and not the same. Olive oil has way more fat and will NOT settle into your skin like a proper face oil. It was rated moderately to very comedogenic so it will clog pores and make you break out, plus it breads bacteria.
MercifulAir 809
Olive oil CAN NOT be absorbed into the skin. Same with coconut oil. It literally sits on your face and will clog your pores. Idk how or who made these things popular in skin care. It’s so ignorant.

hELXIG 42,623
Olive oil is much too heavy for a lot of us! Oils like jojoba and almond are much nicer and with some active vitamins and antioxidants you'll be set. I think Jlo just got good genetics and olive oil happens to work for her, but no one oil is going to work for every skin type. Also girl... don't even play... the botox and fillers (and probably expensive skin care and facials) have been a huge help. I smell a marketting scheme I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
