Maybe there's something going on in her family, or in her relationship, or a friend is in trouble... My only explenation is that she put Chromatica on pause untill after covid so they can restart and do the promo they always wanted + the way they wanted it?.... idk. Could work if she'd put out a deluxe edition and would start over.

The truth is we really have no idea what's going with Gaga. It sure seems that SOMETHING is off what that something is? Idk. 

Could be something serious, could be that she's just enjoying doing whatever she wants to right now.

I don't think Covid and the movie have anything to do with it. She just doesn't want to promote, for whatever reason it is, and I hope she's doing okay.

You can't say it's because of Covid because she's let Stupid Love die the day after it was released, and by that time nobody knew we would be quarantined, it all happened so quickly. 

And people hating on Haus Labs for taking all of her time or whatever... She just doesn't move a finger for Haus Labs either. She does photoshoots every two/three months because she contractually has to, but then, she's silent too. Same for A Star Is Born. She promoted the movie because contractually she had to. But the soundtrack, she completely ignored it except in February when she was predicted to win an Oscar and have a #1 song. Then, silence. 

It's definitely her decision, has nothing to do with Bobby, Interscope, Haus Labs, Tony, kindness or any other project. She just doesn't want to promote anymore. 

All we can do is pray that she's doing better and that all of it isn't because of depression

Yup, also people act like Gaga is some exception...when Taylor, Bey, and Ariana have all done the same or less promo. People need to chill and accept the fact that the days of big promos for most artists (not just Gaga!) are more or less over. If people don't want to stan her anymore because she isn't as public, fine, but a) they should stop acting like she's an anomaly when it comes to promo and b) realize trashing her for not promoting Chromatica at a Joe Biden rally is beyond ridiculous and c) stop acting like Gaga is forcing them to stan her or even be a fan. Also, one hardly sees Ariana's fans acting as psychotic over her lack of promo.

*And on a darker note, her recent comments indicate her health (mental and physical) was a lot worse than fans thought several years ago. While it's possible she's just pulling an Ari/Tay/Bey in terms of promo, it's also feasible that her health is playing a role

Could an example of overworking be getting signed onto two movies and 4 sponsorship brand deals and a book while you just put out an album thereby neglecting the latter? 
cuz that doesn’t sound like Gaga is “overworked” if her priorities are just “elsewhere”

this is obviously under the pretense that the OP is correct but also from what we’ve seen from her social media activities... I wouldn’t think that someone who is overworked would say yes to all the things above if they really wanted a rest.

Yeah, she's done some basic promo but she's not going all out for Haus Labs, etc. like some fans act like...she's hardly doing a Rihanna or even the amount of promo that Katy Perry or Bey for their business ventures. I do find it weird that people act like she's out there shilling credit cards (no shade towards a certain artist who does that as I do love her) instead of perfume (which probably takes like....4 days total when it comes to interviews & an ad) and not doing anything for Chromatica, considering she did do some basic promo for Chromatica & 3 MV.

I don't want to be a downer or overly speculative but my mind went to the same place. It could be that she just wants to pull a Taylor/Ari/Beyonce in terms of promo, but considering her recent comments that implied her health issues were way more severe than fans assumed....I wonder if she takes a break from the public eye for mental health reasons. Look at how Dua said the backlash to her dancing impacted her...and that was just dancing. Gaga's had way harsher backlash (particularly the R Kelly thing that was revived around ASIB) and already battles with mental health issues. It might be healthier for her to not be so engaged.

I genuinely wonder why she doesn’t want to perform or connect with her fans. It’s very puzzling that these are the very things she build her career off and yet she has chosen to just not do them. People can blame budget or whatever the hell else but Ariana is on IG and Twitter all the time, singing randomly on her stories and stuff and I get it sure, Ari is younger and hasn’t gone through as much fame wise as Gaga but... what happened? Why does Gaga not want to share anything with us anymore other than her prepared interview answers and rehearsed speeches?

Everyone please remember that if it hadn't been for covid she would by now have done another bunch of shows in Vegas and the Chromatica tour. That's not the schedule of someone who's given up.

She isn't 100% healthy. That's a matter of public record. I hope she's feeling good today, and I send her my love.

Its annoying to see the wasted potential chromatica has but what i have seen on twitter is borderline cyberbullying and this happens every single time we dont get our way

I just think maybe overworked is the wrong term here since she has clearly done work, just not all Chromatica related work 

Stupid forum and twitter opinions aren’t “overworking” her, she isn’t reading those when she’s shooting haus labs or other stuff
