I am (was) a HUGE gwen stefani fan and I wish it was only a matter of being a Christian but she has endorsed a very insidious app, followed very questionable people on social media and even retweeted stuff from Maga accounts.

Aside from Gwen, it's actually a really good cover. And as far as I know, Ashnikko has absolutely nothing to do with Maga.

I’ve seen the things she retweeted, and they’re definitely from people who pal around with questionable folks. Like, retweeting a Tucker Carlson interview isn’t something I’d do 🤢 

I still don’t think she’s a Trump supporter. I think she’s one of the most ignorant celebrities today, only getting more out of touch as she ages, but her heart is in the right place. She’s always celebrated and supported people of different cultures and backgrounds (even though the “support” sometimes bled into “appropriation”), and been an advocate for women. I know there’s a story about how she performed at a pro-choice rally with No Doubt back in the day and made a comment about how she wouldn’t get an abortion, but she was glad there was choice in the country regardless- and this was met with criticism. That’s basically her in a nutshell to me. She probably has her own values that look traditional to most, but I don’t see her advocating for a whiter, straighter, Christian nationalist country like actual MAGA folks do. 

(sorry for the long post, I just don’t want the internet to run with the thought that she actually came out as a Trump voting MAGA supporter, when at best- or worst- she’s just opened her social media orbit to people & organizations with questionable repute)

yeahhhhh between marrying ~him~, the tucker thing, scrapping her GOOD 2021 songs, the scummy app, and that weird “I’m japanese” interview, she’s definitely disappointed me too 😔 

every time she performs with ND now, it gets my hope up the rest of the band (and they can invite Eve too, just for fun) will tie her down and smack the stupid out of her, but I think it’s too late
