BREAKING: The General Services Administration has informed President-elect Joe Biden that the Trump administration is ready to begin the formal transition process, according to a letter from Administrator Emily Murphy sent Monday afternoon and obtained by CNN.

The letter is the first step the administration has taken to acknowledge President Donald Trump's defeat, more than two weeks after Biden was declared the winner in the election.

I was talking to my cleaning lady, who is right wing and convinced the election is rigged. I put the foot down; I was firm but polite:

“I respect differences of political opinion, but we are not going to have a civil war over this. This is an issue which can get resolved at the ballot box; this is an issue which can get solved in the courts. But it’s not an issue worth destroying our fragile society and descend in to war over.”

Good to see Trump finally starting to fold. With MI and GA both formally certified at the state level, and with PA about to be certified at the county level (once there in PA, there is not a single Republican in the chain to stop formal state-level certification), there is no way for Trump to stop it; Biden has over 270 electoral votes either in states which have formally certified their results, or states blue enough there’s no way Trump can stop it.

Miss Thing was probably creating content for his Trump news network or setting the stage for his next run. I don’t think it was ever about staying president for the next 4 years.
