sexy 3,212 Posted November 19, 2020 Share Posted November 19, 2020 At least the way that I experienced them living in LA (and I have been a fan since Just Dance) The Fame > The Fame Monster > ASIB > Born This Way > Chromatica > ARTPOP > Joanne > Cheek to Cheek based off how much of an impact each made in my actual life. i'm not very vocal about being a gaga fan irl, so i always enjoy when she comes up organically in convo. TF/TFM were obviously her commercial peak, but ASIB was shocking because she broke back into actual conversation again. I remember living with all my straight male roommates when ASIB came out and suddenly we're actually legit listening to the soundtrack cuz one of them was curious. Even though TFM being another album, I’ve have always seeing sales for both together. Anyways, they do were well executed, good sales, very acclaimed album and tour (TMBT), TFM has BR which is an music reset reference and TF shines as the most successful dance recording of this generation. For 2nd, BTW. A solid album with great execution, sales, successful singles. Even though we know she started to go down on public eye when Judas came out, it was still a important moment. 3rd is ASIB. We can’t deny, the whole strategy for the movie and its soundtrack was so so so so smart. At the end we got millions sales, good impact on her professional and personal life and acclaim everywhere. Shallow is now just the most awarded song of all time, ARUTW was a cute smash and the movie brought back her artistic appreciation for the public. 4th, for me is ARTPOP. It got a mess execution after some time but we still got some good timing and it was her artistic peak (at least visually) IMO, Applause got to be a hit and the album has probably around 3/4M worldwide pure sales (for something considered a flop). After years, the album has constantly receiving revision, acclaim and recognition. It was the moment that I saw Gaga at the top in her vulnerability and I really appreciate that. 5th is Chromatica. Ok, the poorest execution I’ve even seen from her but it’s still doing great on streaming numbers for a basically non promo album, it spent weeks as one of the most listening female albums on platforms. We got a cohesive work, great songs as she always delivers, Alice , acclaim, a peak at the mediacritic if that counts, a top 5 and a #1 hit and album. 6th is going to be Joanne and C2C. That was her real transition to get the top again. Cute sales I believe, but we got some streaming numbers and a top 5 moderate hit (MR) and the most important: recognition, VOICE, one of the best Halftime performances of all time.
