Can't believe we're witnessing the beginning of ha decay :messga: it definitely feels like something/someone that was there for the past couple of albums is no longer around, like she and her team are mimicking the Ariana we know rather than doing something new.

Who's placing bets on Ari being the next victim of Miss Scooter, leading to her emancipation and rebirth? :ally:

Imagine Ariana firing 🛴 and then releasing a collaboration like LWYMMD 2.0 with Taylor. :ally:

I don't care for the song, they all sound the same, but I love the video, it's cute, I love the Austin Power parody (the parody of a parody). Austin Power is one of my favorite series of movies of all times and I can hardly wait for the next AUSTIN POWER movie.

I am authistic, so don't be offended if I make a mess sometimes.

Great video for a terrible song. This new album has no hits, and now I see why Positions was the first single. It is easily the best song on that entire album and i'm an Ari stan.

So no one else thinks the chorus is too “raunchy” for radio?

They will just do a radio edit. I don't see this song getting played anyway.

I love ari but this feels like a major step back for her.  The effort and vision, whether intended or just the way it was shot, both seem to obviously lack follow through.  I don’t even have a problem with the whole “fembot” idea being done 1000 times over in pop music.  On effort - it feels like the whole cast were just told on the day of shooting, “okay now you’re all gonna pretend your robots!”  The movements, and acting, and character don’t seem studied enough to seem believable.  On vision, it feels like they didn’t bother to bring anything new to the concept.  They basically went for the Austin Powers “groovy” fembot vibe, but neither did it as a direct homage to the movie, nor different enough to feel like their own concept.  And in the end it all just feels forgettable.  Even the production and effects seem like something from her break free era, but at least the music then made up for intentionally cheesy production

I love the Positions look she's going for, I wonder if she's inspired by Amy Winehouse, Nancy Sinatra and Jackie Kennedy, it kind of does. I just don't understand why they picked 34+35, one of the most forgettable songs on the album. If they plan to really make this album a thing, my guess is that they're also gonna make videos for the duets, most likely Motive and Off The Table but Safety Net is also good. This could be like After Hours with a bunch of videos that follow a storyline.

I like the concept but the execution is just not it. I love the scene with her and her dancers in the spotted room. But the robot storyline is quite pointless to me :laughga:

I love Ariana too, she’s second to Gaga for me.

It's like no one has seen a sci-fi movie from the 50's  or even Mars Attacks from the 90's. I mean it's basically a sexually charged Frankenstein movie. If only Gaga gave us that with her Frankenstein song.

As far as I can tell they were building a sex bot and trying to wake her but when she did wake up she turned all the smart scientists into sex bots.
