Gaga offered Marvel Role?

She was rumored to have been offered a role in Birds of Prey a while back but declined. There's also rumors Marvel wants her for Emma Frost, I think she'd accept if she gets a stand alone movie and it's not a side character like she was offered in birds of prey.

Now that I think of it.... is Dazzler (the pop star superheroine) scheduled to be in any movies? Why is this such a possibility? Stan Lee himself said he wanted Gaga in his universe. What better person to play Dazzler than Gaga.

my guess is that it's for Doctor Strange 2 and she's gonna play Black Widow from a separate universe

I'm thinking Emily Blunt's taking that role. She's already had talks with Marvel and she was also supposed to play Black Widow before Scarlett Johansson took the role.

I'm interested to see if this'll actually happen. There have been already so many rumors, from different sources regarding different roles, that all say that Gaga, at the very least, is considered to play some sort of role in the MCU.

I would personally love it, but I'm not sure if she'll take a role like that. Gaga likes to have a lot of creative control, and Feige is very controlling, though, I'm sure for Gaga they'd probably have some leniency...

Either way, I hope she gets a role that's exciting and different. I don't want Gaga's acting career to be defined by her singing career. Like, some people still have the nerve to think she's going to do a Gucci soundtrack  Like, what are y'all smoking? It's not gonna be a musical or anything like that  That's why I hope she doesn't do something like Dazzler. Even though that really fits Gaga, I don't want her to be type cast as the "artist" or the "singer" every time.

yeah that makes sense I noticed the same user also revealed Charlize Theron didn't accept a role which might be the same one Gaga was offered

this. she ain't taking a supporting role as her next project, and certainly not a supporting role in a popcorn/comic book movie.

I'm still pissed she didn't book Ursula in the Little Mermaid remake though. that would have been so perfect. (Also, does anyone know if Kacey Musgraves got Vanessa? I heard a rumor she had a screen test.)

Lylla Gaga! I would love this and would want a little nod to “Shallow.” Also, I am sure Disney will add her as an animatronic to the Guardians Of The Galaxy Mission Breakout ride in CA and maybe even the new ride in FL.

IIRC, Charlize was supposed to play Captain Marvel. If DS2 is going to be this big multiverse film with different actors playing roles they originally were going to play, then I don't think Gaga would be playing a role that already exists in the MCU since she was never in talks to do any of those roles.

She's probably playing a brand new character in some other property. But hey, maybe she's playing Clea in DS2. I think that'd be really cool!

She took a MUCH better role in the Gucci film. This is the path Gaga choose for good reason

This isn't about music her tho. Gaga did not even have a lot of creative control on ASIB.

THIS is my biggest fear for her acting career, none of her future roles (for a long time at least) should involve singing or that will the only kind of role she'll be trusted with! I remember watching a Bette Midler doc in which she said she struggled to find a good acting job after her oscar nominated role in "The Rose" (she played a singer in it) 'cause people in the industry thought she could only act if singing is involved!
