Bad Bunny contacted Gaga to be on Chromatica

Did he actually say the word "ignore"....or just that it didn't work out? Because plenty of times collabs don't work out and artists usually don't frame it as "ignored" (which sounds unprofessional). Also, as much as I love Bad Bunny I don't think he would have worked on any of the Chromatica tracks.

Cause side-eyeing the stan who posted "ignore" because that has more negative connotations and/or sounds like a stan trying to cause drama and get Gaga dragged.

She literally did just that with Chromatica and said as much. She collaborated with A LOT of different producers and artists for this album as is. Even if I think this could have been good (which I do), she was already dragged by people for having all the collabs the album DID have. Plus, Chromatica was tight. I don't think there was room for another song let alone another collab with Bad Bunny.

But she was dragged for that. This comment even reads as a drag for that. Also, features always have the most streams, that's the point of doing them. I think that having worked with Elton, BP, and Ariana, this album would have been hampered, not supported, by another collab. Plus, I can't really hear his schtick working in the *very* specific Chromatica universe. I'd be more interested for her to feature on a song of his tbh because Gaga's music, imo, generally doesn't lend itself well to a rap verse. The reason DWUW worked was because it was RnB, and JnD isn't really all that much of a Gaga song (though I like it a lot). Basically, I'd rather Gaga stick to her own thing and dip in on others' stuff rather than try forcing something in *purely* for streams and having it be clunky. BP, probably the most commercially-driven collab on Chromatica, works REALLY well and doesn't feel like a cash-in, but does so because of how they could pretty easily fall into the sonic palette of the album. I feel like if she threw in a rap collab where it doesn't make sense (it's just not really her lane) it would wreak of fakeness.

So yeah, not against it, but she can jump on something of his. I think that's where a team-up of the two would be better suited. It's not that her collabs are sacred, but she *does* get a pretty specific vision for an album that doesn't lend itself very well to anything remotely outside of that interacting with it.

Sometimes i think the collab could horrible but we all know gaga wants all her collaborators to contribute with something and he's quite creative, so let's see if it happens

That's obvious. Both Sour Candy and ROM appear both for Gaga and Ari/BP listeners. She's put out duets, not remixes. It's not like she released Stupid Love Remix feat Cardi B or something. It's honestly so silly of you to point it out like that. She has a collab with Elton John in the very same album and I don't think she has earned extra streams from it.
