A Very Gaga Holida 22,299
There was never an original LG5. The album has evolved just like every album (minus TFM and BTW). It was never supposed to be that dance pop dark album to begin with, nobody ever said that except for the fans. Gaga described the album in 2014, and her description fits Joanne perfectly: “Lady Gaga if I erase the fame”, “operating the cadaver of my old self”, “back to my roots as a musician”. She worked with RedOne but hey, every Instagram picture of them had a guitar and a piano. And out of these sessions we got Angel Down. Joanne was always Joanne. Elton John said that one song sounded like Yoü And I (which fits) and an other like Bad Romance (which doesn't fit) but he also said that ARTPOP was a really bad album, so he's not a reference

Gaga says things all the time and then herself contradicts them. I don’t think it’s as finished as people think. But that’s just my opinion based on what played out during the era and things she said. This. Not to criticize Gaga, but whenever she releases something, she lies shamelessly to say that the project is very important to her. Like, no moral code when it comes to promotion she does it EVERY SINGLE TIME. 🔹Born This Way: she promised Bad Kids extended, Americano mariachi version, a second music video for Born This Way 🔹ARTPOP: Act II which was never recorded (legal documents showed that only 18 songs were recorded: ARTPOP album + Brooklyn Nights + Heard It On The Radio + Temple) / and when G.U.Y. was released she said it was just the beginning of the era (she obviously knew it was over, the paid for the video herself because Interscope refused to invest) / plus she promised new music on tour 🔹Cheek To Cheek: she said she would release a new album with Tony very soon, and well, it's been over 6 years and the album is nowhere to be seen 🔹Joanne: Gaga has learned to be more self-conscious about what she says or when and where to say things, but once again she said she would sing new music on tour, and apparently she also told fans backstage that she wanted to release a side B with Frankensteined, but that's just a rumor. (RedOne later confirmed Frankensteined though) 🔹Chromatica: her producers aren't allowed to say anything about the album, they all signed NDAs, but out of nowhere Bloodpop says Babylon early version is coming. He can be a troll sometimes, but there's no way he said that without Gaga telling him to do so, or at least allowing him to.

Someone was really trying to drag me but we KNOW she plays that game every album cycle. Not so much lying but exaggerating and discussing her wants and wishes before they are even close to having the possibility of fulfillment. Or telling us she wants to do something and her label being like... so we never see it.

Maybe she should add “maybe I will do that, I don't know yet, I'm very spontaneous” or something like that

To this day people expect her to release/ perform that EV of Babylon everytime there’s a rumor she’s doing ANYTHING.

Joanne was a great introduction for Ally and for her to get into that role.

They were working on songs, Heal Me & Why Do You Do That was written then and got tossed onto ASIB. Even Gaga's note to him about "can't wait to write this next album with you" Her direction apparently changed when Bowie passed away and she wanted to tell a different story. Frankenstein was a track for LG5. Angel Down was the only track in that 8 pack of RedOne songs that fit the theme of Joanne. I do believe TEA was also considered for Chromatica as DJWS teased it at the JWT and said "that's all you get for now" Hoping one day we get a mysterious folder full of Gaga outtakes!
