The reaction by the people to this could literally lead to a civil war and the GOP would not risk this. I was relieved when the PA House Speaker signaled that he wouldn't do this, but I guess only time will tell. There's no such thing as considering a private commercial product "legally public". The only way to actually do it is if the Gov't nationalizes it. When the government actually nationalizes Twitter and all of the others through a law, that's where your complaints will carry weight. Otherwise you're just against private property. Specifically, corporation's private property. And, look, that's not bad at all lol. I respectfully disagree. That may be the case for now, but the courts will get to decide that and I'm of the opinion that the more these platforms become the spaces where people gather and it becomes evermore the public square, that reasoning is going to change and the courts will see it as such. Until then, of course the companies get to make those decisions. But I don't think that makes it right.

But the state legislatures in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, perhaps Arizona, they now have an opportunity to make a stand on behalf of the rule of law. Are they going to endorse what went on this week or are they going to appoint a clean slate of electors that supports President Trump? That could be the next battle and I would think that activists interested in this issue -- and if you're concerned watching this, start talking to your state legislators and start asking where Congress is. Because Congress, in the end, is going to be the judge of the Electoral College votes. And I -- if I were in Congress, I'd be telling these states, "You better keep up on -- you better be honest here, because we're not going to accept your votes if your -- if your -- if your election is a sham." 32 states +DC already bind their electors, but I'm not sure if GOP Legislatures can override this. What I'm reading is that the "process" was supposed to be announced on Election DAY, so I'm not sure if they can go back and send alternate slate of electors. ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

He's already eyeing GOP candidates for potential Cabinet positions. The GOP know this very well, and most likely will collaborate with him. We are not dealing with "the Trump Party", we're in all likelihood dealing with a party that's actually distancing itself from Trump, especially with his actions these past few days.
