You have a point :haroon:

Still, even a third world country like my own has a better electoral system for the presidency. And to think there were people suggesting we changed to a system similar to the American one :saladga:

Don't do it. It was meant to give the elite class a gatestop to the common man's "misguided" votes. Because the South always benefits from this thumb in the scale, southern politicians always keep in from being abolished.

No. In the majority of stattes, if a candidate wins a majority, all of the EVs go to him and the state turns that color.

Oh that I knew of course, but I didn't know Nebraska was an exception to this. Actually I thought all of them were winner-takes-all. Thanks

Trump supporters can cope and seethe like we've had to the last 4 years. Let's make this a one term presidency!

Most states are winner take all for electoral votes. I think Nebraska and Maine are the exceptions. (There might be others, but these are the two that come to mind.)

Interesting. I didn't knew that. Isn't this more fair or representative of people's votes than the winner take all the electoral votes? (Either way I don't know if this would be more beneficial to republicans or democrats). But in my opinion would represent the popular vote with more accurately, I guess (?).
