I really doubt that will happen. That would be a huge change and extremely difficult to get done. The silence I think is just a protest against the Barrett nomination because its close to an election. In interviews in the past Biden has actually said he isn't for expanding the court because then when republicans get back in control they could do it too. The Idler Wheel 300
We all learned what happened last year. I'm not believing ****, but I have gotten people to vote for Biden and other people should do the same.
StarstruckIllusion 53,580
The way so many people distrust these polls... you guys have no idea why the polls were “wrong” last time. Its because pollsters didn’t account for the white vote without a college degree to better predict things. Now they have. Plus the polls always said Hillary would win by about 2 points. She did. Its just Trump was strategic with the electoral college, something Biden has a great standing in right now, and some are saying hes likely even now to win 270. Everyone chill
TheAlexer 1,343
One of the biggest differences between Hillary's performance in the polls and Biden's is that Hillary never had more then 50% in rust belt states while Biden is leading with 52-53% in states like Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania which are the only ones he needs for the presidency. Hillary's results in most swing states were actually generally accurate. The problem was that since she never had over 50% but rather 46-48%, Trump had the chance to move past her with undecided votes with the help of the Email scandal. Spoiler Oh gosh Why do I even know all this I'm not even American

Basically, it was much much closer in 2016. In fact, if polling is off as much this year as it was in 2016 then Biden would still win because in 2016 it was within the margin of error (in swing states, polls got the national vote right as Hillary won it by 3 points), but not now. This is fake news. Her lead was never this large nationally ever taken at the aggregate, and the swing states were much closer than they are now. Most swing states were polling within a few points of each other, and Hillary only had about a 4 point national lead average at this point. Meanwhile, Biden has an average 10 (!) point lead nationally taking all the polls in aggregate on Real Clear Politics AND FiveThirtyEight. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2020/president/us/general_election_trump_vs_biden-6247.html https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/president-general/national/ Biden actually has a pretty sizeable lead nationally, not "not by much". But you're right in the other aspects. Also, Hillary never polled higher than the mid-40s in polls and Biden has been polling at or even above 50%. ------------------------------------ None of this is to say Biden has it in the bag. There's still a few weeks to go and Trump will try all he can to steal the election. It's gotta be a landslide to make it that much harder to try. You're totally right about the national lead. I seem to remember Hillary being up higher. VOTE MONSTERS!
