How do murderers even have the option of getting out on bail?

innocent until proven guilty. whats not clicking with yall?

the only possible grounds that could be used is threat to safety and risk of fleeing. The bail money was set really high because of "public outrage" aspect, but in the US that element cannot prevent someone from getting bail.

I swear some of you just have no idea how the legal system works and your opinion on his guilt or innocence is irrelevant to his bail.

The Court MUST release, unless there is a serious threat to safety of the public. this was not the case. End of story. He is going to get the fair trial he deserves, and hopefully justice will be served in a regular, fair, and impartial manner.

The real issue is that people with more money can get bail more easily, which leads to racial and social inequalities in bails. So what you should really be after is the law around bail in the US, not the judge who released Chauvin waiting for his trial.

Innocent until proven guilty is a fallacy. A court verdict cannot retroactively change an event.

The due process of criminal justice under the rule of law is not perfect but it is much better and equitable than mob lynching. Hope y'all would get that.
