Are you ****ing serious? They just don’t even want to pretend like they care about these black lives that are being thrown away?

I wish I could be surprised. What's 1 million? :fail:

$125k (probably mostly crowd raised by white nationalists), a 401k, a house, and so much more.

This isn’t gonna end well for the concrete between houses :messga:

Mister G

All eyes on Minneapolis tonight. It’s going to be wild there. This man had no business being released.

Why was he even given bail as an option? The judge could have removed that when sentencing but instead decided that for a pretty penny...he can be set free to never have to face the consequences of his actions

This is America...you can get away with murder if the price is right

Someone really spent 1million$ to set a murderer free.:saladga:

I'm sure it was fund raised by all the white supremacist groups and other fellow supporters...

The fact that there were enough people that donated to raise a million ****ing dollars is genuinely sickening, how racist do you have to be to willingly give money to a murderer?? Awful

i mean the whole practice of cash bail is an issue that the US has been ignoring for way too long (we don't have that in canada) BUT, a few legal principles to be reminded, which are cornerstones of our legal system:

1) innocent until proven guilty

2) usually, courts are to release people charged of crimes waiting for their trial (the general rule), UNLESS, they present a risk of fleeing or danger to society (the exception). Specific evidence needs to be produced to demonstrate these exceptional situations.
