I think she loved her life she had before and did not realize how hard being first lady really was. I don't think she was a particularly good person before either, but I don't think she was ever as bad as Trump. I do think Melania is trapped. I think she has signed a clad iron NDA that even this person who recorded her doesn't know who the real Melania is. Whenever you see them together, you almost kind of feel bad for Melania, but these tapes just show you that she's not innocent or kind at all. I mean, the stuff about kids being threatened by gang members being "fake"? Like, how dumb do some of these people have to be? I'd like to see their livelihoods threatened and in imminent danger only to have other, more privleged, people say, "Ummmm....but is that reeeeeaaaaaal or are you just lying so that you can get better stuff?" It's hard to interpret what Melania is trying to say with her broken English. Can someone tell me what the take aways from this interview are? I took it as she's unhappy with how she's portrayed and actually does not agree with her husband or want to seem complicit in what he does. She says she doesn't care about formal things like Christmas decorating but is forced to do it... and still gets questioned about the kids separated from their families. They cannot ever be portrayed well no matter what they do by liberal media.
