Covid-19 Cases Double... Ontario Closes Strip Clubs + New Restrictions

Canada's largest Province Ontario of 15 Million people has banned strip clubs from operating as the number of daily Covid-19 cases have more than doubled in a short time from less than 200 daily to over 400 daily in most days

 

Bars will also have to close now at midnight and alcohol stop being served at 11pm

 

Gathering size limits have also been reduced again

 

However other businesses whose restrictions were eased in stage 3 reopening for now are exempt from re-imposed restrictions

Also of course they target alcohol since the Province sells it and has monopoly on it and forced people to buy from LCBO stores. It's all a conspiracy to make more money

Bars and clubs should not have been opened in the first place. That was the first bad decision from the Canadian government. It was obvious this was gonna happened.

I actually think it’s because of universities and schools rn. 
I work at a restaurant in Ottawa, and it has yet to feel risky there.

I guess cuz they can't financially sustain every business and no business can survive 6 months without business so the only way to prevent a complete collapse is to only close when the spikes get worse

To be fair the Canadian Government didn't decide squat about bars. What reopens and when is up to the Provincial Governments

Exactly. Bars and clubs are far from essential. They should've remained closed.

I don’t live in Canada but I’m glad I have continued to not go out to the bars even though some of my friends have suggested it.  It’s so risky and I’m much better off staying at home watching TV.
