African Americans are subject to centuries' worth of systemic racism and oppression. This is a fact that is in no way up for debate. This is what the BLM movement addresses. In no way does the movement suggest that black lives are the ONLY lives that matter. Rather, it acknowledges the disparity between how African Americans and white Americans are treated under the law -- again, verifiable fact -- and seeks to change that. There is no need for a White Lives Matter movement because white Americans do not experience the oppression faced by African Americans. Also, when people say things like White Lives Matter or "Why can't we have straight pride parades?" it has almost nothing to do with achieving genuine equality; they are only attempts to delegitimize minority movements.
