The production really makes the song. It sounds like you're walking into a club with the music getting louder and louder, with new effects coming through once in a while. Mirwais really did that with the production, it's so intricate and it manages to be innovating and interesting without overdoing it with the effect. The only moment where the balance seems to be lost is in the beginning when Madges vocals have been chopped up, there shouldn't have been any effect there. But other than that minor flaw it's a fantastic song. @Pennywise I think this track is a standout in Madonna's whole discography. Almost everything Madonna & Mirwais have done together have been amazing, but even among them this track stands out. It is not even that it makes me go "yaaaasss girl werk slay mama", but it is sonically different and it, in the end, makes me wanna go "yaaaaaassss girl werk slay mama". @Lionel Ronaldo It has a nice beat. @whoresup I like bits of this a lot but the gargling noise is actually a bit grating sometimes. @monstertoronto Hypnotic and catchy @MessyTop Mt fave track. Waaay ahead of its time @HausOfAntonio I’ve grown to like it less than I did initially, but its still great. @MingersPrayer This blew my 12 year old mind. I’m sure it won’t be highly rated but it marked a step forward to Madonna after ROL and also a mature production that’s still based in dance music. Perfect opening to DW Tour.
