I think for me it is somewhat reminiscent of the GUY mv, yet I would have appreciated more choreo breaks from the weirdness (I like it but still). Like I think the choreo shots would give it a little more oomph.

For example, it's like the GUY video with no dancing. It's almost too abstract for a casual viewer. That said, I've started to appreciate it more with more views. 

My main criticisms are lack of CHROMATICA aesthetic....... and no group choreo. It's growing on me. Whereas the ROM video was an instant fav.

Well, just accept it somebody doesn’t like it. 
Being an artistic video doesn’t mean you have to like it. I personally think this video is good, I just expected something totally different. While I respect her art direction with the video and the choice of it, it doesn’t mean it has to be liked me everyone. It’s a sense of taste. 
 

only thing that bothers me is that it has nothing to do with Chromatica. After the planet thing in SL and the city thing in ROM I expected something different. Still doesn’t mean it’s bad.
