News articles were saying 18 months are how much the process for a vaccine lasts and this is only if everything goes as planned. Keeping in mind that lockdown didn't start until March 2020 and this is when people wordwide started to really panic, to think that an vaccine will be available in spring 2021 is just unrealistic. And it's 1 person out of 30.000 and we don't even know if the side effects are a result of the vaccines or other causes and there are like 10 other vaccines that are being developed so there's no reason to freak out about.
