Laboratory AstraZeneca and the University of Oxford have stopped the covid-19 vaccine  trails on phase 3 due to an adverse effect on 1 of the 30.000 volunteers. The case will be studied and countries all over the world have been notified.

Let's hope it's nothing and they can go back to trials soon! This shows how serious they're taking this :applause:

This COULD be worrying but also that's the point of testing. I'm more worried about countries distrusting untested vaccines (hello Russia hello USA). Adverse effects under testing can be traced at least, unlike nationwide vaccinations. Let's hope this gets resolved and it turns out to be nothing serious.

Honestly I'm super worried about the adverse effects if the vaccine is too rushed. But on the other hand I want this sh!t to end asap. This is so tiring :smh:

The person might be I'll and not directly from the vaccine? Let's wait. The only thing that can't happen is to go back to phase 1..

Let's remember that 12 potential vaccines are being developed and that most likely 3-4 would be safe and effective to use.

how do you know that?

as far as I know it's commonly even less, because it's incredibly difficult to get something out to the public and through testing

It's what the WHO estimates. I'm not saying they'll be ready at the same time tho.

Hundreds strated to develop, we have 12 in advanced trials, I don't think it's that crazy to say that 3-4 will be ready (someday)

Well, I mean, at least they're doing it right. Whatever vaccine they eventually put out has to be thoroughly tested and 100% safe, otherwise that ish is not going anywhere near my body.

The fact Trump wants to rush a vaccine by Election Day. :smh:

We need to trust the scientific process and let it take its time.
