I just listened to it. With all due respect to Charlotte, Gaga's and Bradley's rendition is a lot rawer and more passionate (to me). But Charlotte did a good job, and I'm glad that this has helped her earn recognition and wish her lots of luck. 

(I also wonder if the original "Shallow," which is the little engine that could, is going to chart again now.)

No shade to her, she's obviously a great singer, but this rendition just didn't do much for the song. Just felt like a piano cover, with no soul or emotion. 

I'll still be interested to see how her career turns out. Wishing her success.

Ya I see what u mean, it sounds a bit like a rendition you would hear in the background of a romcom while the characters are having dinner or at a banquet so they can talk over it until the chorus hits
