No. It’s a good album that is simply not marketed lol could’ve been groundbreaking with some companion film but for now and likely forever it will have 2 music videos of two of very average songs. Mishandled would be a more appropriate term.

Chromatica references a specific era of music, so naturally some people will label it as “dated” and whatnot without really understanding what that term means. It is objectively progressive in using cues from 90s House music to create a new and classic sound, which to me sounds timeless and will only age with grace.

It’s not what some people wanted/expected, or it’s challenging for them to appreciate it perhaps, so they resort to labelling it as “dated” and call it a day. Just what I’ve observed.

Bless you. :vegas:

Dua's album is retro but it still sounds modern and current. Same with The Weeknd, Miley's new song or Doja's Say So. Bloodpop kinda failed

I think she should skip CTC and release it In 2015 :awkney: But I love the album anyway! Just like I love BTW ARTPOP etc. but um... Today we should have LG7 at least with something else.

No it could've been released in 1995. It doesn't offer anything new or insightful.

This type of music is pretty popular now, so I don't think so.

I really think it's timeless

I can't feel any unnecessary production (unlike on smile:huntyga:)

Songs that sounds modern at a time isnt really going to sound 'modern' through age
