I agree that a strict lock down lowers your positivity rate and the US could have benefited from a more robust response like that, but completely eradicate? Even New Zealand, after having zero reported cases, have 12-15 just a week or two later. I just don't believe China's numbers are accurate. I mean they did try to hide it from the rest of the world and allowed their citizens to travel and spread the disease. Imagine how much worse it could have been if those doctors didn't share their videos. I don't doubt anything when it comes to the Chinese government. Moreover, Hong Kong has been allowing a certain number of mainlanders in without quarantine or testing, and quelle surprise, cases are now spiking again in HK.
