Because I can speak from direct experience when it comes to applying to a school like Yale. Elite US colleges have became a mix of cheating uber-rich kids (not upper middle class!), athletes with low grades, and a Affirmative Action quota-ed group of minorities. I don’t know if you can bring direct correlation between whites & Asians being accepted less and Blacks/Latinos being at fault. The corruption of US admissions is a much bigger problem where merit is no longer the basis of acceptance. Top universities should be accepting the best STUDENTS.
