Mirrion Rizzons 9,929
I think we all know what kind of person he was, and I, in no way support that. However, call this an appreciation thread for one of, if not, the most iconic song in pop music history Everything about this song is perfectionIt's older that most of us (released as a single just over 18 years before I was born) but it is still recognised by the world as a huge, groundbreaking cultural reset all these years later. The lyrics, the spoken monologue, the sound effects, the iconic laugh at the end. Everything about it makes the song such an experiencewhew He has better songs, but none were as culturally impactful as this one. So much personality, charm and creativity in one song & the music video. WHAT A VIDEO. The red jacket, the werewolf segment, the legendary choreography. It truly transformed music videos in something spectacular. Best and most iconic pop video of all time. and the second best video includes thriller-esque energy too Even after all these years, I am reminded of how the song made me feel as a 6 year old child again, who was scared sh*tless at the monologue and video. To this day, I still feel unsettled listening to it, but that doesn't mean I don't want to get up and dance just as much! Do you think this song has stood the test of time 38 years after its album release? watch the music video to celebrate the, dare I say it, most iconic song of all time

Born in Chromatica 7
Yes, I agree, certainly one of the greatest moments in music history, which really introduced the concept of mini movie music videos and the song really set the bar on pop music, even in today's pop music.
