How many are considered serious?

Oh my. Why I am asking serious questions here? Stupid me. :lmao:

Not serious? The Vietnam War ran for 20 years from 1954–1975. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., lists more than 58,300 names of members of the U.S. armed forces who were killed or went missing in action. We will be approaching 3 times that total for only 6 months next month. Tell it to the 180,000 fathers, mothers, sons and daughters.

More than 150 prominent US medical experts, scientists, teachers, nurses and others have signed a letter to political leaders urging them to shut down the country and start over to contain the surging coronavirus pandemic.

In addition, the letter says all nonessential businesses should be closed and restaurants nationwide should only provide take-out service. People should only leave their homes to get food and medicine or fresh air and exercise, and masks should be mandatory in all situations, the letter urged. Leaders should also ban interstate travel to help contain the virus.

Well, the ones that have died so far so at least 140,000 :ohwell:

Or put another way, imagine this happening 47 times in five months:

file-20180904-41720-xwahre.jpg?ixlib=rb-

3,000 deaths was "serious" enough to invade countries, topple governments, destabilize an entire region, and wage a 20 year war that's still not ended.

I guess 140,000 deaths doesn't justify closing coffee shops though :ohwell:

Well. After 6 months of this, u still make a mistake like comparing a disease with an attack? :icega:

u can make comparasions like that every year with the flu season and it would still look bad. U dont do it because it is stupid and because it would mean restrictions forever.

140,000 are a lot of people, but let's find out what CDC recommended for pandemics that kill less than 450,000 people. Well, not much until covid, which in 2007 would have been considered a category 2 flu pandemic.

I dont even know why I bother, since this will get ignored or received multiple lmao reactions, while the next uninformed post will scream about something unrelated. :selena:

Look. Another comment that doesnt understand that you cant compare wars to diseases. :lmao:

By that standard, every flu season needs restrictions. How out of touch can u be to not understand that you cant make such a comparasion?

U also cant read a comment, apparently. I asked how many are serious, didnt say anything about "not serious".

Check worldofmeter. It has a "serious cases" chart. I guess it is news to uninformed you that not all cases are equal. :fail:
