Don't put ever again Shape of You on the same level of Shallow, please.

Again, we’re not talking about which song we think are the best. We are talking about which song that got commercially bigger. Ofc Shallow is 1000x better than SOY but that doesn’t change the fact

Why do some fans act as though music history began in 2008 :awkney:

lady gaga actuallly discovered music in 2008 when she looked up to the sky and heard a sine from above :bear:

Economy

I don't know. Commercially not even close

In terms of critical acclaim and impact its pretty up there but I don't know that I'd say the most in history

But the number of awards alone doesn't reflect all aspects of critical acclaim. Not to mention many factors affect wins and nominations too

yes it has performed very well and won lots of awards- but I don’t think it will have much longevity.  In a couple years it’ll be forgotten by most GP.  It’s really not even that great of a song tbh.

Not much longetivity and still #108 on Spotify with 1 million streams daily almost 2 years after release :billie:

I heard people really like this "I will always love you" song. But idk, the title sound like a rip-off of "I'll never love again" to me :ally:

I wouldn’t go that far but it’s definitely going to be a song that will be remembered and one of the most requested songs to sing at a karaoke bar in the next decade. :yennefer:
