(CNN)The Supreme Court on Wednesday cleared the way for the Trump administration to expand exemptions for employers who have religious or moral objections to complying with the Affordable Care Act's contraceptive mandate.

The law requires that employer-provided health insurance plans cover birth control as a preventive service at no cost.

All this is going to do is lead to more people getting unwanted pregnancies and then more abortions, which these Trump people don't like. Want less abortions? Make it so people don't get pregnant in the first place.

Can they please stop controlling women's bodies.

Completely f*cking ridiculous that the morals of your employer dictate what health services you can afford or access. This wouldn't be a big deal if we just stopped the model of having health insurance  provided by employers :saladga: Support single-payer healthcare now!

Edit: And suddenly every conservative business owner says he's a modern-day Amish Jehovah's Witness who "doesn't believe in modern medicine at all!" and doesn't have to provide any insurance at all to their employees because "health care is against muh faith." :smh: What a ridiculous precedent this sets.

In addition to what  y'all already have said, the same people who support this ruling probably don't support businesses' rights to require patrons to wear masks. :saladga:

Also, can we just talk about how contraception was never "free" anyway. Even if you get your health insurance through your employer, you are still paying for it.

There should be a law ruling it illegal to make laws about women's bodies, or any human being's body. But especially women as it's such an obsession for everyone about what she does with it
