The public refuses to listen to safety regulations and infections, hospitalizations and deaths are skyrocketing. Canada isn't the US and every decision that was made by the government worsened the situation in a way where opening things up at once and with no regulation whatsoever means that the economy and a conservative's illusion of freedom are more important than the fact that this pandemic has killed more Americans than most wars. The genius couldn’t account for that; he failed to handle the COVID-19 outbreak here, failed miserably to address the police brutalities (why would he), and has nothing else to lean on aside from the economy.
